Our Mission
Maxx and Me Dog Rescue was founded with a simple but powerful mission: to give every dog a second chance at life. We rescue dogs from shelters, neglectful situations, and the streets, providing them with the care, love, and rehabilitation they need.
Named after Maxx, a rescue dog whose story inspired our founder, we believe that every dog — regardless of age, breed, or background — deserves a safe and loving forever home.
As a 100% volunteer-run organization, every dollar donated goes directly to the dogs in our care. We are powered by passion, community, and an unwavering commitment to animal welfare.

The Dog Who Started It All
Maxx was a scruffy, overlooked dog sitting in a shelter, days away from being euthanized. When our founder brought him home, they had no idea he would change everything. Maxx's transformation from a frightened, neglected dog into a joyful, loving companion showed what was possible with patience, love, and care.
That experience sparked a mission. If one dog could change so dramatically, how many others were out there waiting for the same chance? Maxx and Me was born — and we haven't stopped since.
